WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?
Sessions should generally be booked 1-2 months before your desired session date. Fall and Christmas sessions book up VERY quickly, so do not hesitate to contact me for booking during the holiday season.
Please email me for availability.
For maternity sessions, I like to have those shoots a month (or so) before your expected due date. So contact me somewhere between your 6th and 7th month of pregnancy. If you plan to book a session for your sweet newborns, it is best to have these sessions on the calendar within the first ten days of the due date. I often book 2-3 possible dates for these sessions to account for changes in delivery date.
WEEK OR WEEKEND
I book all sessions on weekdays and weekends! I try to accommodate for what works best for you and/or your families. I also work full time aside from photography, so this is taken into consideration when needed, as well.
Every session revolves around sunrise and sunset. These times change throughout the year, so according to when you book your session, I consult a sunrise/sunset calendar and we will coordinate from there. If you are an early riser, as I am, a morning session is your best bet. If you enjoy your morning coffee and The Today Show before you even think about dressing, you may want to shoot for an afternoon/evening session.
If you wish to order prints, this can be done through your client gallery that is emailed to you when your photos are complete (also accessible through the 'client' tab). All other ordering (wall prints, canvases, custom cards, etc.) can be done via email or telephone. I take payments for orders via cash or check. More info on payment is explained via email before your order is placed. Also, please email or call for questions regarding pricing information for custom print products.
My prop collection is small but growing at this time! I often bring quilts, propping for newborns, or fun things that may pertain to an upcoming holiday. However, I do encourage my clients to bring anything along with them that they want to include in their photos. Pets are always welcome, too! Funky, bright-colored chairs, special quilts, wagons, birthday cakes for the babies, balloons, chalkboard signs, and anything else you can dream up are always a joy to include. Seniors are certainly encouraged to bring along letter jackets, instruments, sports uniforms and/or equipment, etc. to our session to really capture your personality and current time of life.
